A.R.A Ostrich producing and raising farm is established in the area, 12 km far from Antep, on the lands ofancient Mezapotamya. The physicical bases of the farm woes consruced in 1999, but the first part was established by Ali Ozekici in 2000.
The farm has totaly 30.000 m2 space. The 1200 m2 of this is covered up. Covered pard occures 8 different procreation, growth, progress and growth rooms. Separatelly, we have an incubation room and a management building. The first bird of A.R.A Ostrich farm were imported with a great effort by us in 2001. our bird population accures 24 female, 12 male : totaly 36 mature birds.
After that we added 20 chicks to our 36 mature birds (5-8 years old). In the first procreation year, we had 250 eggs. The detial information about our chicks is in ``our projects`` section.We are thankful to veterinarian Docter Ali ozdede. Because he alweys has been presenting his help. Tanks to him, our birds are in a hurmony and live healthy.
Our name ``A.R.A Ostrich Farm `` comes from A:Antep R:Ratite and A:Agro
Antep:Is a city in the south-east of Turkey. Ratite:Means birds with two nails in latin. Agro:means in or on the land in latin.
